ADC Nigerian Students' Wing hereinafter referred to as ADC Students' Wing (ASWing) is an affiliate of African Democratic Congress, ADC. ASWing is an avenue for students to join ADC.

ADC Students' Wing started it's activities a long time ago, but the formalisation of its operations nationally became intensified around middle of 2018. In a letter dated 27th September, 2018 and addressed to the National Working Committee of the African Democratic Congress, seeking official recognition of the group as an affiliate, the leadership of ASWing had itemised the salient features which forms the aims and objectives of the body.

The formal recognition of ADC Students' Wing was at the National Convention of ADC which took place on Sunday, 7th October, 2018 where ADC Students' Wing had an opportunity to and formally presented its programs and operational guidelines before the  national delegates from the  36 states of the federation and FCT Abuja, and before the National Working Committee of ADC and in the presence of ADC presidential aspirants, Dr. Obadiah MAILAFIA and Princess Saidat ODOFFIN

The National coordinator of ADC Students' Wing, *Comr. Chukwunonso K.C. OFOMAH* , therein, addressed the delegates at the National Convention, explaining the programs and operational guidelines of ADC Students' Wing. ADC Students' Wing become formally recognized.

ASWing has its National Headquarters  at Abuja with annex at University of Nigeria Nsukka, UNN.

ADC Students' Wing has offices in the 36 states of the federation and the FCT.

ADC Students' Wing is meant to have coordinators in every school in Nigeria. It is expected that student politicians,  S.U.G officials and Departmental / faculty leaders should embrace this opportunity to learn and practice politics outside even while in school. A very good advantage.

ADC Students' Wing is for Undergraduates, Postgraduates, NYSC, Young School leavers, and Admission seekers.

Though ADC Students' Wing is a solid campaign structure during elections, it is however meant to exist even after elections as it is part of the party itself.


ADC Students' Wing is witnessing rapid growth and has structures in many universities, polytechnics and Colleges of Education, including monotechnics and vocational schools. ASWing is currently on face book.

ADC Students' Wing is currently recruiting  politically minded students and future leaders. You are welcomed 🤝

The Senate has passed the Electoral Act No. 6 (2010 Amendment) Bill 2017 into law. See the salient features: 1. There shall now be full biometric accreditation of voters with Smart Card Readers and/or other technological devices, as INEC may introduce for elections from time to time. 2. Presiding Officers must now instantly transmit accreditation data and results from Polling Units to various collation centers. Presiding officer who contravene this shall be imprisoned for at least 5 years (no option of fine). 3. All Presiding Officer must now first record accreditation data and polling results on INEC’s prescribed forms before transmitting them. The data/result recorded must be the same with what they transmitted. 4. INEC now has unfettered powers to conduct elections by electronic voting. 5.
